We are centrally located in the heart of Hawthorne, on Hawthorne Road in Brisbane, in a beautiful character-listed building opposite Hawthorne Park.

Our completely refurbished and custom state-of-the-art facility has been recently renovated and expanded, making it one of the most advanced dental surgeries in Brisbane.

We didn’t want it to look or feel like a traditional dentist.

Being able to create a purpose built facility allowed us to redefine what a traditional dentist could look like. With a patient first philosophy, we worked on a concept of ‘flow’, taking into consideration patient and staff movement and how we could maintain a technically superior environment, without making the space feel clinical and cold in appearance. We love the heritage and historical buildings of our area so it was important for us to maintain the Queenslander feel, whilst also introducing a day-spa like influence.

Relax and Comfort

We want your experience with us to be one which is not only successful in achieving its desired dental outcome, but one which can also ensure that you are treated in a comfortable and relaxing state throughout the entire process.

Inside, you will find everything you need to feel comfortable during your appointment. Enjoy a coffee or tea on arrival, and enjoy a movie of your choice from the dental chair paired whilst listening noise cancelling headphones.

Nitrous Oxide

For those patients who have an apprehension of coming to the dental chair, Nitrous Oxide (otherwise known as ‘happy gas’ or ‘laughing gas’) is available for those who may need that little extra help to relax.

Beautiful, Technically advanced rooms

Each dental room features modern dental technology and communication. We are able to show our patients what our dentists see using intraoral cameras. Our practice only uses the latest in digital radiographs, lowering the exposure and making images easy to review and forward to other specialists if required. Our facilities are here to provide the greatest level of expert provision, accuracy and efficiency for your every treatment need, and as such they are kept continually up-to-date.

Sterilisation

At the core of our building is the sterilisation and instrument processing room. We ensure all instruments are barcoded and catalogued above and beyond the guidelines as set by the Australian government. This means equipment is tracked and traceable, ensuring our facility is kept consistently sterile and in the highest state of sanitation and hygienic condition.

We believe in transparency of process and is why the room has a viewing window that spans the length of the room adjacent reception are for all our patients to see.

Refresh Station

We understand that sometimes after a dental treatment, our patients would like to review their smile, touch-up their make-up and make everything is in place to carryon with their day. That’s why we created our refresh station conveniently located just before you walk out to reception. Hidden in the refresh station is also our treasure chest ‘prize box’. We seek to reinforce positive experiences with associated dentistry, especially for children in their formative years. So, for children who visit, we make sure they leave with a small gift to smile about.

Parking

Finding a park is never difficult for your visit to Hello Smiles. We have plenty of undercover car parks conveniently located on our ground level, as well as our location having great off-street parking on both Uhlmann Road and Hawthorne Road.
