Dental Payment Plans

At Hello Smiles, we appreciate that life sometimes places us in unexpected dental predicaments and finding immediate funds can be a challenge.

That is why we have partnered with Afterpay to create a dental payment plan solution to help you get the dental treatment you need and arrange for payment later.

Afterpay is also a helpful, convenient solution for cosmetic dental work that you have been thinking about getting but delaying, such as Teeth Whitening.

What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a service that allows you to receive dental treatment and pay for the treatment in four (4) equal instalments after the procedure is complete, with no additional cost to you – Please note: Late fees may be charged by Afterpay if instalments are not paid on time).

In Summary:

• Pay for your treatment in four (4) equal fortnightly instalments.
  For example: If decide to pay $135 of your check-up and clean through Afterpay, then you will make four payments of $33.75, with the first instalment commencing at the time of your visit / treatment.
• Pay no-interest and nothing extra when you pay on time
• You are able to use Afterpay on ALL dental treatments
• Maximum expense limit : $1,5000
• Application is online or in-app
• Approvals are instantaneous

How does Afterpay Process Work?

1. The first thing to do is book an appointment with Hello Smiles via phone on (07) 3395 6944 or by booking online.
2. Next up, you will need to download the Afterpay App. This is via the Apple Store or Google Play. From there, you will need to sign-up.
3. Prior to your appointment, it is important to check your spending limit in Afterpay by pressing the barcode icon in your Afterpay App.
4. At your visit, please generate a barcode for our team to scan. If this is the first time you are using the platform, our reception will be happy to guide you through the process.
5. The platform will then debit your nominated credit or debit card each fortnight for four equal instalments, starting on the day of treatment.
6. Finally from there, you will be able to keep track of your payment schedule through your App.

What dental treatments can I use Afterpay on?

In short, all of them. Afterpay has a spending cap / limit. So as long as the treatment fits within this limit, then we able to provide treatment in combination with their payment service.

We do find that the more popular treatments used for Afterpay include: Emergency dental work, Wisdom Tooth Assessment and Extraction, Root Canal Treatments, Teeth Whitening, Mouthguards and Nightguards, Dental Crowns and Dentures.

Eligibility

To qualify for the Afterpay service you will need to:

1. Have an Australian Debit of Credit Card
2. Be over 18 years of age
3. Resident of Australia

Things you should know:

• Funds for the first fortnightly payment (25% of total cost) will need to be available on the day you visit Hello Smiles for treatment.
• There are spending limits that will depend on your individual circumstances with Afterpay. It is best to check these limits with Afterpay prior to any treatment to ensure you are covered.
