What Is QIP Accreditation?

QIP stands for Quality Innovation Performance and is based on integrating National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards into a dental practice’s existing quality standards systems, and harmonising regulations passed by both State and Federal governments.

These standards reflect regulatory requirements passed down by both Federal and State Governments and are evidence based with a clear focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement of protocols and implementation of best practice for a patient’s continued care.

Accreditation is not compulsory for dental practices but undertaken as a voluntary measure designed to demonstrate and promote continuous improvement the safety and quality of care we provide our patients.

Accreditation of our practice means that as a patient, you can be assured that all staff are educated on dental systems and adhere to strict quality and safety performance standards.
